Teresa (Terry) Hughes (Director of Investigations) Terry is a 25-year veteran of a leading Canadian Bank attaining the position of Commercial and Retail Bank Auditor and Field Investigator. Terry conducted special investigations into embezzlement and fraud and ensured bank policies and regulations were implemented. Terry managed the merger of two Commercial Banking Centers overseeing all applications and systems within the Credit Administrative areas. Terry returned to University to pursue her degree in Criminology and Sociology. She completed a tour as a Surveillance Detection Officer for the United States Consulates. She has worked as a Private Investigator encompassing Insurance and Personal Injury investigations, field and on-site Audits, Corporate Security and Fraud investigations since 2000. Terry is accustomed to and thrives in a fast paced environment and has strong analytical and evaluation skills. She has gained experience in analyzing legal documents and financial statements, securing evidence and obtaining legally recognized written statements. In her spare time Terry volunteers at the Burnaby Youth Secure Detention Centre and is a voracious reader of Forensic Crime Investigations. She is a mother of two and lives with her partner in Vancouver. |
Ronald W. Palm (Director of Security) Ron is a 25-year veteran of the Vancouver Police Department where he was deployed in the training, analysis, enforcement and investigative areas. In addition to serving as a member of the Vancouver ERT team for 11 years, Ron was on the planning committee and an Instructor for B.C. Police Tactical Teams. Ron is an experienced hostage negotiator with intimate knowledge of explosives and chemical munitions. He is an expert marksman skilled in VIP protection and counter-surveillance. Ron has instructed at the Justice Institute of B.C., has served as a Crime Intelligence Analyst and is consulted in Commercial, Industrial and Residential Security. Ron has extensive local and international experience in surveillance, investigations, facility assessment, electronic counter-measures and personal protection. He possesses strong analytical, motivational and client service skills that have resulted in successful individual performance, training and consulting. Ron has provided close-protection and advancing for CEO's and high profile entertainers in international venues. Ron's career also saw him as a Manager of Security for a large grocery chain in B.C. and the Yukon, Director of Security for a local hotel and Manager of Security for a Crown Corporation where he co-managed seven departments and 750 employees. Ron continued his education at UBC in the faculty of Music, BCIT in Management, Langara College, Douglas College and the Canadian Police College in Ottawa. He has four children and lives with his partner in Vancouver. Ron is affiliated with the 15th Field Officer's Mess and the South World Wine Society and is an avid reader of Sci-Fi. |
